CMPD searching for missing Gaston man

Police are currently looking for a man who was last seen at a west Charlotte-area Wendy’s on the in October and has not been heard from since.

Matthew Coleman was dropped off at the Wendy’s located at 3300 Freedom Drive by a family member on October 30, 2018. Coleman has not returned home or been heard from since and his family states that this is unusual.

I am familiar with this area, there is a convenience store next door to Wendy’s and a city bus stop in front of Wendy’s.

Right at an exit off of Interstate 85 which going south would take you to Gaston County/Gastonia.

I wonder why family dropped him off there - it’s an area I would not venture after dark.
Perhaps for work since he was dressed in “painters”’ outfit? Not a lot of info.

I wonder if he was ever found. I just thought of him and will check some local sites.
