Correct. But even a controlled doctor prescribed drug at your home can be stolen. It is against the law to take medicine prescribed for someone else.

No, it isn't. But they likely have to amend the charges. I bet he gets a plea deal. I agree, there is something really off about this guy, aside from this incident.

what do you mean? I thought he is still being charged with child abuse for putting trazodone in the girls' food. They just dropped the other charges relating to controlled substances since the substance, once properly lab tested as opposed to field tested, turned out not to be a controlled substance.

I would still like to find out what constituted "field testing".
