Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance with locating Nicholas Blackhorse, 25, of Maxton. Blackhorse was last seen in the area of Campbell Soup and C&P Mini Mart in Maxton.

Height-5’07”
Weight-135 lbs
Hair-Brown
Eyes-Brown

Blackhorse has both of his ears pierced.

Blackhorse has a tattoo of a feather on his neck and “hood rich” tattooed across both hands. Blackhorse also has a scar down the middle of his stomach.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Blackhorse is asked to contact the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office at 910-671-3170.


 

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WPDE) — While searching for a missing person in the Maxton area, the Robeson County Sheriff's Office River Patrol Division found a body in the Lumber River Tuesday at 11:15 a.m., according to Sheriff Burnis Wilkins.

Deputies, as well as homicide and crime scene investigators, are now working to figure out how the person died.

Joni Locklear said her son, Nicholas Blackhorse, went missing in the area on March 17.

Locklear said she and a rescue team out of Horry County have been searching for her son in the area of Can Road for several days.

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WPDE) —
A body found last Tuesday in the Lumber River in the area of Can Road and Palmer Drive near Maxton has been identified as that of 25-year-old Nicholas Chad Blackhorse, according to Robeson County Sheriff Burnis Wilkins.
