SUSPECT IS QUESTIONED ABOUT FATAL STABBING
Greensboro police were questioning someone Monday in connection with the fatal stabbing early Saturday of an American Express employee who staggered wounded onto Terrell Street in southeast Greensboro and flagged
On April 7, 1990 at 2:45 am, Renita Michelle Brown, was transported to Moses Cone Hospital by private vehicle. Upon arrival at the hospital it was determined that Brown was suffering from a stab wound. She was pronounced dead a short time later. It was later determined that the stabbing occurred in the area of Terrell and Orchard streets.
According to an article
No arrests were made Monday.Renita Michele Brown, 32, of 4607 Raymond Road died later Saturday morning at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital. She had been stabbed in the chest, said police Lt. Jim Hightower.
Hightower said Brown motioned to a nearby car after being picked up at 2:45 a.m. and said the man who stabbed her was inside. But those in the car did not get a good look at the suspect's vehicle and could provide no description, Hightower said.
Brown's car, which had been missing since early Saturday, was found Monday in High Point, and police believe it may have been used by her assailant.
My idea is that the suspect is someone who knew her well. Surprised nobody has been charged with her homicide yet.
