Intrigued as to how she gained access to this particular chemical & the knowledge on how to handle it, without poisoning herself.
I googled acetonitrile and clicked on the Shopping tab and there were several links where the average person could buy it online. As to how she knew what it would do…that’s still a mystery.

In this video it's suggested that as deputies were investigating the poisonings they uncovered evidence that she was responsible for the 2007 house fire murder, and they're now investigating whether she played a part in other deaths.
I wonder if her own diary entries might have been her undoing here?

The victims Father also passed away " suddenly " in 2019.
It is possible she had inherited some money. This is just from their facebook.
Father of second daughter was a business partner, but married to someone else. A poly situation. Some of their former employees have shared their expetiences on Reddit.
Mentions of her owning a landromat : possible reason for having the solvent.

The lack of interest is surprising to me, even here on WS. Maybe once some hearings get going things will pick up.

Or maybe there are only a few of us intrigued by a repeat poisoner. I'm doing what research I can on my own but I'm not skilled at finding old court records.

The Australian case with Erin got lots and lots of following. I think this one will too.
And I think we are going to learn some weird things.
For starters, how did she come up with that name.?

As to the wine served on Thanksgiving 2025, my personal theory is that she was pouring the wine out of sight of her guests. There were 12 guests. Envision them all sitting around the table in the dining room. Out in her kitchen, Gudrun has two opened bottles of wine -- ready to pour. One bottle contains poison -- the second does not. From the kitchen, Gudrun proceeds to pour out the wine into individual glasses. First, she pours the poisoned wine for those she intends to poison. She goes to the dining room and serves those glasses first. She then returns to the kitchen to pour the glasses for those she does not intend to poison. She brings those (untainted) glasses into the dining room and serves the "lucky ones". Not that difficult to pull off. (IMO!)

Could be. Or maybe LE looked at people in her social circle who had untimely deaths and compared to purchases of the poison? IDK.

My theory is she picked that name to align with the Leinenkugel beer family, which would be known in her homestate Wisconsin but probably less known in North Carolina where she changed her name, so she thought she could pull it off? That's my guess.

And/or covering the trail to any misdeeds/finanial obligations under her given name??

Here she claims to be part of the actual Leinenkugel beer family. Their bio mentions a Henry Casper. She also has used Güdrun Lund as an alias.

It will be interesting to learn how close any ties to the famous family are and why she decided to emphasize them. I'm all ears.

Pierogi as a pub grub? Maybe let's start with saying we do not have an equivalent of public houses, as known in UK, in Poland and when still had inns and taverns the time consuming pierogi was not an usual dish in there. It changed after the second world war when the milk bars appeared.
Also, Brits did not take the idea of a public house turning it into something something, they invented them. Fish and chips is a typically British dish, not all European. And Schweinskäse. Dear God. Last time I checked it was a kind of pate, nor a sausage cheese dip!

That woman is not German, she did not spend any time in Germany or anywhere in Europe, I can assure you. And I am pretty sure she is as much a member of that beermaker family as I am (hint: I have no relation to them).

Edit: the cheese dip shocked me so much I forgot to mention I do not know any variant of the name Gudrun with umlaut u - like Güdrun.

I sense a hint from Kimberley Kessler ..... comparing old photos, new photos and both woman.
Allegedly KK had/has a twin sister. Makes me thinking a bit.

BUT so many coincidences don't really happen, probably. 🧐😟😞

I consider this official debunking. ;)

She is from Wisconsin which does have plenty of bars, beer, and bar culture, but I think she was spinning tales in North Carolina.

Ahhhh. This sounds so probable...
I wonder if that Wisconsin family knows what has transpired under their good name. I hope we hear from them.

According to Wikipedia, the name Gudrun means 'secret lore'. I'd be intrigued to know if that's why she chose it, or if it's just an interesting coincidence

Gudrun is an old norse and scandinavian name meaning Gods secret lore, Gud in swedish is God,
