Circumstances of Disappearance:
Nixon went missing from Hampstead, North Carolina on September 2, 1994. He was last seen at his residence on Woodside Drive and told neighbors he was going for a walk down Highway 17 and to the woods. He failed to return home and has never been heard from again.

In 1997, investigators received information that Nixon was possibly killed and buried in a shallow grave. Extensive searches of the woods were conducted near his residence but he was never located. Few details are available regarding Nixon's disappearance and his whereabouts remain unknown.
