Barbara Hunt may fit the narrative here.

She's a tiny thing 4'8 - 5'0" (so height off immediately), but her eye color is unknown so there's a chance whoever gave the info could be mistaken. Weighs 80-90 lbs, so if the jeans are a hip size 34" it would work. She went missing in Jan 1985 from Smyth Co, VA after she went to a local bar (Seagram's tee) and left with a car full of random women.

Yes I looked at her too - it's a good fit despite her hair being quite short (hard to know when that pic was taken). Barbara has DNA in Namus so I guess they will rule her in/out as they go through the process of JD's DNA tests?

See and I really liked your suggestion of Billie Hall. I think you've got a good possibility there.

My Notes on clothing and weight estimates based on clothing:

A size 34 in vintage Levi's would equate to roughly a modern size 10-12 which would be a M/L today. Probably more on the size 10 or Medium side.

An approximate weight for size 10 pants is 140 pounds.

Below is a picture of gray Levis cords from the 80s.

Shoes at 25 cm could be worn by a woman with modern size feet of 8.5-9.5.

Also, the vintage Seagram's shirts from the 80s that I've found are a dark Burgundy or a Navy Blue. It's possible the shirt turned black from decay.

I accidentally made a new post for this Jane Doe since I did not see this post while searching before.

I have sold vintage clothing for 7 years. Here's what I know about vintage Levis:

A size 34 in vintage Levi's would equate to roughly a modern size 10-12 which would be a M/L today. Probably more on the size 10 or Medium side because even as a 34" waist would probably fit a little smaller, since pants made back then had a tendency to shrink a bit more than pants these days.

An approximate weight for this size pant is 140 pounds.

Below is a picture of gray Levis cords from the 80s. This as a size 28 pictured.

Also,
Shoes at 25 cm could be worn by a woman with modern size feet of 8.5-9.5.

Also, the vintage Seagram's shirts from the 80s that I've found are a dark Burgundy or a Navy Blue. It's possible the shirt turned black from decay.

I have a size 9-10 foot and I'm 5'6" (I have above average length of feet for my height). I think we're looking for a woman 5'6" or taller, weighing 125-145 at her time of disappearance (to fit those pants).

My mum was a bartender back in the 80s & 90s and got a lot of cool promotional stuff like t-shirts, coasters, shot glasses, and beer glasses.
I wonder if she was a cocktail waitress or bartender?
Rocky Mount appears to right along I95 . If she were found near it, she may have been a dump job and could be from
just about from anywhere up and down the east coast.
Totally agreed.

She's not out in the woods in sandals by design, jmo, so don't think she was killed there or died there. And if it was chilly enough for cords, I don't know why she's wearing sandals at all. And if she's a server or bartender who just finished a shift, it's not likely she was working in sandals, jmo, but she may have changed into sandals at the end of her shift. Maybe she has the cords because of heavy air conditioning at workplace, which is often the case. Other scenarios/ideas: maybe she's out on a boat, where it's just a tad cool, but the sandals will work, maybe out on a patio somewhere, a beer garden, a concert...

Then there's that Scotch whiskey shirt. I'm doing random searches to find out how popular Scotch whiskey generally would be in US regions at this time. I'm seeing that there likely wouldn't be as much of this in the South where bourbon's the thing. In that timeframe, Scotch is more going to be in demand in very big cities/sizey metropolitan areas, and in the Northeast, where there's an entrenched, established market for it. The demand in the US generally was more towards lighter spirits like vodka at this time. So I think decedent and perp are probably ffrom somewhere else and this was a "dump site" chosen by the perp.

Donna O'Banion, Oct 1985 East Baton Rouge LA 25yo 5'6"

Hair is reddish, she's in in significant metro area in Baton Rouge, wearing blue jeans, cut off white tank top with design, sandals, so quite close to the Doe on the clothing. Donna worked as a waitress, she disappeared after completing her shift at an Airline Highway lounge. O'Banion left Southern Comfort Bar near Prarireville at 2a.m. on October 23, 1985, and has not been seen since. Am wondering if maybe she got the shirt there or went somewhere after and came by it, changed into it then in a partying type atmosphere. I'd also wonder if they were jeans she was wearing or cord type jeans. Also, I just tried looking up these clubs, think one is, and may also have been at that time a gentleman's club. So... waitressing, just got off shift, close in clothing to the Doe... this is pretty much exactly the scenario I'd wondered about. And if it also involves a strip club near an airport, they're to my knowledge like magnets for out-of-towners.

Also wondering on Annette Vail, she had done quite a bit of traveling 18yo 5'6" Oct 1984
1771307900107.webp

Her hair is reddish and wavy. At one point, she'd gone on a cross-country motorcycle trip with her spouse. Her family last saw her in Sulphur Louisiana, her husband told the parents Annette went to Denver. (Would note she's technically recorded as being missing from Tulsa OK) Husband then told the police she'd actually gone to Mexico from a St. Louis bus station (that didn't exist) after he'd dropped her off there. Later, he was claiming he looked for Annette in Mexico. Then at some point, he was living in Mississippi. This is a very complicated story, but it seems to reach something of an end with him being convicted for the murder of his first wife, the wife he'd had before he married Annette. (And there was another woman he'd associated with, too, also before Annette, and that woman vanished also.)
