Yeah, but think about it- most kids hang their heads in shame when they know they screwed up, lol. Maybe Mom and Dad threatened to take his video games away or something- they were honest about it, know what I mean?

Yep. Both my kids 'ran away' once or twice. lol It is part of childhood. But sadly, sometimes kids do really have reason to fear.
