Resendiz, 21, is 5-feet tall, 110 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing an unknown description of clothing with no known vehicle.

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service said her disappearance poses a credible threat to their health and safety.

Name: Angelina Petra Resendiz

Age: 21

Date last seen: May 29

Last known location: Barracks at Miller Hall at Naval Station Norfolk

Physical description: 5'0, 110 pounds, black hair, brown eyes

More details: NCIS says Resendiz's disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety.

Anyone with information is asked to call Naval Criminal Investigative Service at 877-579-3648.

Her mother, Esmeralda Castle, expressed deep concern for her daughter, stating that Resendiz's absence is out of character.

Days have passed since Castle last heard from Resendiz, who serves as a culinary specialist at the base. On Tuesday, state police issued a critically missing adult alert for Resendiz, citing credible concerns for her health and safety.

"My kid is missing, and she wouldn't just unauthorized leave without permission. Angie’s too scared to miss work; she wouldn’t do that. Something is wrong, and I’m going to Virginia tomorrow to find out what I can because I need to start looking for my kid. I don’t know what’s going on," she said.

Her mother says “Angie” never goes a day without talking with her family.

"Her and my sister have a 400-day streak on Snapchat. Every single day she talks to somebody. She talks to family, or she will talk to a friend," said Castle.

….
Also, to note:
Castle said Resendiz doesn’t drive and does not have a vehicle.

"Authorities report that she was last seen on May 29, at 10 a.m. in her barracks located in Miller Hall at Naval Station Norfolk.

A description of her clothing was not provided, and she does not have a known vehicle.

Authorities believe that her disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety."

I hope they have video cameras that may show her when she was last seen that morning at/in/outside the barracks.

I wonder what her work days/hours are, and if on that Thursday morning she would have been on her way to work.

This is definitely very concerning, her disappearing from her barracks with no communication at all since then.

Sincerely hoping she is okay and her family gets answers very soon.

To Note:
"People that care about Angie shared with me that the last person she was with was missing with her," and "that person showed up Monday but not Angie," Castle said.

Well that person has some explaining to do, where, when why? She went missing on 5/29 (Thurs) and that Monday ( 6/1) That person showed up without her? Am I missing something?

This sure seems like a central piece of the puzzle. This person must know where they went.

She was last seen on May 29th a Thursday at 10am. Where would she go at that time? What was happening in that area ? I don't see a holiday on that weekend. Just trying to figure out where she would have gone. I would think the person she was last with would speak and let LE know. IMO

I imagine NCIS is all over the person who "was missing with her, but showed up Monday".
Makes it sound like they were together over the weekend, maybe? This person showed back up to
work Monday and Angie didn't. I'd love to hear what this person has to say.....
I’m waiting for that also, but since nothing has been stated publicly after five days and she’s still missing. I’m worried whatever explanation was given may not be holding water. We’ll see …

Esmeralda described her week-long ordeal, saying that investigators conducted multiple interviews, took DNA samples, and reassured her of their confidence in finding Angelina. However, specific details about the investigation remain scarce.

When asked if there was a possibility that Angelina left without permission, Esmeralda indicated that investigators do not believe this to be the case. “They don’t think she’s just gone without permission; they believe she is missing,” she said.

After visiting Angelina's barracks, Esmeralda reported that her daughter's belongings suggested she did not leave for good. "Her fan was still on, and she had personal items like food and a yoga mat untouched," she noted. Esmeralda also mentioned that no money has been spent from Angelina's accounts since the day she went missing.
