Family members of a missing Montana man who was living and working in Williston say they are hoping to travel to North Dakota to recruit volunteers to help with a search.

Clarence McNabb, 22, called home on Saturday night, and hasn’t been heard from since, his mother, Ruby Young Running Crane said.

“That feeling I had that night, it was right,” she said. “Something wasn’t right, I should have just kept calling and calling and calling.”

An investigation by Williston police is focused on tracking McNabb’s movements over the weekend and speaking to acquaintances.

McNabb, a native of Browning, Montana, found work in the oil industry shortly after moving to Williston about two months ago, his family said.

He was hoping to make enough money to buy Christmas presents for his two young children, and to eventually buy his own tractor-trailer.

He made it a habit it keep in touch with his family every day, his mother said.

McNabb is 6’2” tall and weighs about 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark jeans and a brown jacket with “Indian Relay Champion” on the back.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Williston police at 701-577-1212 or Gary and Ruby Young Running Crane at 406-338-5750.
