Case No. 51-2023-CR-00969, (Related Case Information Related Cases 51-2021-CR-00782, 51-2022-CR-00842, 51-2023-CR-01517) is something that could well have repercussions with those he victimized, or their associates. At least one of the related charges was related to drugs manufacturing/distribution (case 00842)

The statute that terrorizing an adult victim, a class C felony, falls under is 12.1-17-04(1)
12.1-17-04. Terrorizing. A person is guilty of a class C felony if, with intent to place another human being in fear for that human being's or another's safety or to cause evacuation of a building, place of assembly, or facility of public transportation, or otherwise to cause serious disruption or public inconvenience, or in reckless disregard of the risk of causing such terror, disruption, or inconvenience, the person:1. Threatens to commit any crime of violence or act dangerous to human life; or2. Note: An Order to Apprehend him on these charges was issued April 10 (it's at the bottom of "Dispositions" in the case info in the first link provided in this post.

Body found believed to be Mark.

Police say they found the body believed to be that of 36-year-old Mark McMillan around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday while executing a search warrant in the basement of a southeast Minot building.

Davis was charged in July 2024 after the body of Mark McMillan, 36, Minot, was located wrapped in a plastic air mattress in the basement of the building Davis worked in. McMillan was reported missing in April 2024 after falling out of contact with family members, but his body wasn’t found until investigators reviewed his social media communications and followed up on a number of tips from his associates, according to the affidavit of probable cause.

Jury selection began Friday morning and concluded around 3:30 p.m. with a panel of 14 jurors and alternates made up of 11 men and three women. After being sworn in, Judge Douglas Mattson informed the jury he expected the trial to run until Friday, June 23
