The family of a Fargo teen, found dead in her room over the weekend, is reeling from a second blow Tuesday night. The arrest of the girl's brother in his big sister's death by asphyxiation.

Good heavens.

With a name like Sergei, I wonder if he was adopted from another country into this family? Just a thought.

Obviously they must have some sort of information that makes them think the brother did it. And yes, Sergei was adopted at age 7.

Thanks CaliKid. I had no idea crimelibrary already had something on this.

I wondered because I know there can be physical violence issues with adoptions, and his name definitely did not fit in with "Whitney". You say he was adopted at 7 yrs., and I bet it was a difficult adjustment for all. (severe reattachment disorders) If they are divorced, I'm betting that kind of stress caused it. :(

Off to read the crimelibrary article. Thanks!

Well, that was an interesting article. Just your typical sister-brother relationship, huh?

I'm so sorry for this young lady and her family.
