I hope LE will at least get some officers and a dive team to check out the areas where the truck could go off the road. I don't understand why LE isn't helping this family; how frustrating.

I wonder if the witnesses who put the three at the Playhouse were able to tell LE if these guys had been drinking and if so were they okay to drive? No judgement just trying to get a feel of the likelihood the driver could miss a turn and go off the road. I sure hope everyone is found safe and sound but as the hours/ days pass the chances are getting slimmer

Looks like they were traveling south on 180th. At Blondo, 180th ends and you have to go East or West. So I imagine they accidentally went straight.

Yes. I believe you are exactly right. Attached a map below link if it works.

The road hits a T and if they weren't noticing then it was too late as they hit the end of the road at full speed. There could have been more water in that creek at the time or they may have hit hard in the ditch and the impact alone may have killed them.

Either way it is a tragedy. The only good news is they are found now.

Many years ago I did a similar thing and luckily did not hurt myself. I was on a road I was not familiar with and was driving about 45 MPH at night and the lighting was poor. Before I knew it the road hit a 90 degree bend to the left and there was no way I was going to make the turn so I ended up jumping the curb in front of me and ended up in a field straight in front of me. Did some damage to vehicle but luckily I was ok.

I think their accident is very similar. They didn't realize they had to slow down for a turn either right or left. I didn't see any street lights on the map at the spot where they left the road.
The article said no skid marks so it was too late before they realized what road was doing.

a search warrant was requested.

"The Airbag control module in the 2013 Chevrolet Silverado will contain recorded evidence data concerning the collision and the events leading up to the collision. Data recorded in the Airbag control module will include some or all of the following: vehicle speed, engine speed, throttle position, brake status, seat belt status and Delta V (change in velocity, crash pulse). This data may be able to corroborate or refute evidence at the scene. The recorded information in the airbag control module of this 2013 Chevrolet Silverado is needed to complete the investigation of the collision in which it was involved."

On Tuesday, police said the truck was going at a speed in excess of 90 miles per hour before the incident.

A toxicology report has yet to be released.

I had no idea that airbags devices contained that info!

90 mph. Wow. That's really bad. :( Not 100% sure but I imagine the speed limit there isn't more than 45.
