You know...it is a very nice place to live. Small town of not even 2000 people where everyone knows everyone else. Nothing bad ever happens there.
The sad thing is, no place is immune to this kind of tragedy, no matter how safe or prosperous or clean a town may be. Or family, for that matter. I think that's what breaks my heart so badly for this father. He did think he was doing his best to protect his family, and I have no doubt he was. But sometimes, there are just some things a parent cannot control, especially if he's unaware.

But you're right..the girls WERE best friends. If you ever saw Trista out and about, Seirra would be right there with her..this tragedy has not only taken its toll on the family, but the community as well. It is the first time they've had to deal with something like this.
Definitely. I'd think this kind of case would hit the community even harder, because it's just not something that's supposed to happen. I do hope everyone in your town rallies together to take care of the sister and her parents. And I pray justice is appropriately served.
