Warren was last seen Wednesday, August 23, 2017 around Noon in Atkinson. He was wearing a black hoodie with a Harley brand on it, blue jeans and tennis shoes. He was riding a 2003 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail 100th Anniversary Edition, 2 tone black and silver and possibly wearing a matching helment. License plate 36-230.

Warren Wondercheck is 5’7″, blue eyes, gray/white hair with a goatee and weighs 200 lbs.

Missing man’s body found south of Atkinson

The Holt County Sheriff's Department, Atkinson Police Department and Atkinson Fire and Rescue responded to a motorcycle accident around 3 p.m. on Highway 11, around 6 miles south of Atkinson.

The driver was identified as Warren Wondercheck, 69, who had been reported missing on Aug. 23.

A nearby resident had discovered the accident while moving cattle.

According to the police report, the motorcycle was heading northbound on Highway 11 when it left the roadway to the east, became airborne and struck a tree at a glancing angle. Wondercheck was thrown from the motorcycle.
