Missing: Abdullah Mazmahoor, a 15 year old male, has gone missing from his home in Schiedam, Netherlands. He was last seen Friday, 1st December 2017.

Abdullah has collar length dark curly hair, and was last seen wearing a cream colored shirt. He left home without a coat.

Abdullah is profoundly deaf, autistic, has learning difficulties and communicates only through Dutch Sign Language. There are immediate concerns for his welfare.

Abdullah Mazmahor, 15, was reported missing from his home in Obrechtstraat by his mother, who believes he went out at around 11pm. Police are especially concerned because he left his jacket at home and does not have his regular medication with him.

Members of the public have been asked to check caravans, garden sheds and storerooms for the boy, who has a fascination with old appliances. ‘He’s interested in old things and antiques, rusty washing machines, old round plugs, preferably black.’

Abdullah has learning difficulties and can only communicate using gestures. ‘He can manage in the outside world, but it’ll be hard for him without a jacket,’ she said. Volunteers from Schiedam, Vlaardingen and Zoetermeer helped police with the search over the weekend, using search dogs and thermal imaging cameras.

A local app messaging group has also been set up to co-ordinate information and updates. Police believe Abdullah may have gone to Zoetermeer, where he attends school, or Vlaardingen. He is around 1.85m (6ft 1in) tall and was last seen wearing a cream and blue checked shirt, trousers and black trainers.
