This poor little girl had such a tragic end ..
I did find a wikipedia page for her giving a good resume of her story but it's only in dutch so here's the translation :

"Nymphe Poolman (born 1984) disappeared from Vriescheloo in Groningen on November 28, 1991 at the age of 6. After doing some shopping at the supermarket with her father, she wanted to walk home alone. She never got there. The case was investigated, among others, in the program Crime Time by Peter R. de Vries. On the initiative of De Vries, a group of businessmen also offered a reward of 100,000 guilders in August 1992 for the tip that would lead to a solution to the case.

In 1992, a German court sentenced 29-year-old German pedophile Georg Adler to eleven years in prison and the German version of TBS (from what I understand it's some kind of psychologic treatment). The conviction was based on his statement that he had strangled Nymphe after a rape and placed the body in a chemical drum, which was allegedly transported to Britain and then processed in a waste incinerator. Adler was working for waste management company Septicon at the time of the murder, which also gave him the opportunity to do so. On February 7, 1993, Adler attempted suicide in his cell, which he survived.

Nymphe's body was never found, leading her parents to disbelieve Adler's confession. Peter R. de Vries believed that Adler was the author.

In 1999, Nymphe's mother, Jacqueline, published the book Over Boundaries: The Story of Nymphe's Mother."

Also here's two more pics of her that I found online.
She was so beautiful, it's so tragic the way her life ended ...
I doubt she will ever be found, if Adler's story is true, but still, I think it's worth sharing her face, just in case of

Yeah, she looked like a little fairy.
placed the body in a chemical drum, which was allegedly transported to Britain and then processed in a waste incinerator.
I never understood why would it be transported to Britain. Isn't there a waste incinerator on land? I also couldn't find if the police verified he was in the Netherlands at the time.
Sadly, her family isn't looking anymore, there was an article where they stated they couldn't live like that so they decided to move on. Her father threw away his personal notes about her disappearance.

I was thinking it was to make it harder to link the chemical drum and the body to him if it was found in another country ?
Seems strange to me too
As for her parents, I hope they found peace in a way or another. I can perfectly unferstand their decision to try to move forward, even tho it musts be really hard
