Identified! NH - Hopkinton, Interstate 89, WhtFem 18-30, tattoo of a feather w/birds June 5, 2023 - Gina Maiorano

Investigators said Wednesday they were able to identify Maiorano "after intensive investigative work."
An autopsy found she died from "blunt impact head injuries," but it's not clear yet how she suffered those injuries.
Police arrested a man from Henniker Tuesday night in connection with the case. Thirty-year-old Thomas Shane Hanley is charged with stalking and breach of bail. He's also facing a felony charge of conduct after an accident.

This is so terrible. From the video below which shows Hanley in court, summarized "the working theory is both were believed to be high on meth, and Gina fell out of the vehicle. Hanley contacted police the next day...."

Photo of Gina and a bit more information about the relationship between the two in the People article above.

The only mention I have read of the vehicle is in this WMUR piece where it says Gina "somehow fell out"

Since they were both likely under the influence of meth, there could be several possibilities for how a door would be open ( maybe even missing??) while the vehicle was in motion on the highway.

From same wmur article: "The defense attorney said the two of them had been using meth and noted that Hanley called police the next day."

Sigh. Terrible....
