Who is 'Baby Grace Doe'? Review timeline of case as investigation continues
A newborn baby, given the name Grace Doe by the MPD, was found around 4pm in Pine Island Pond, located in Pine Island Park. From what I can tell, no one has come forward with information. She was buried on May 12, 2025. There is an artist's rendering of Baby Grace Doe included in the article linked. Edit: Just discovered something sad. New Hampshire has safe haven laws, this baby girl fell within the age range to be surrendered without consequences :(

The fact that it's been this long and nothing has come to light yet is truly disappointing. In NH abortions are legal up to 24 weeks so I wonder where the mother is at in all of this. I wonder if the MPD has investigated hospitals and/or other medical facilities for any leads. I really hope this case gets more attention for justices sake

Given the safe haven laws in NH are only legal for the first 7 days after the babies birth I wonder if the baby is older than 7 days. That might shed light on motive

So I googled it (the original post I saw about this on Youtube said 61 days) and it looks like sometime last year it was changed to 61 days. One source I looked at did say 7 days, though official government website says 61, and a news article from the source I quoted in my first post from May 8 as an additional update to the case (reminding parents that there are options) also says 61 days. Looking at the source that says 7 days, it's from 2021. Of course we don't know the circumstances surrounding this child's birth and death, but her mom did have the option of surrendering her.

Thank you for the update I must've missed that! In my opinion the baby does not look more than 61 days old so this is still heartbreaking nonetheless. I hope whoever did this faces justice, this is extreme cruelty.
