Its a horrible situation. About 15 minutes from me. I know someone who lived in the Park City Apartments and she remembers the day well. The community in Spring City is fighting to have the case opened again. Sounds like they are covering something up. I know there have been some new tips and I pray that she returns. He father is so determined, he contacts the police department and County office everyday to see if anything has come up.

I hope they've reached out to Chian Diaspora groups in the US, like the Chios Society of Washington, DC. It doesn't seem like there are/were too many of them.

I wonder whether she could be related to Greektown in Maryland. There are many people with the surname Kaitis who attend St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Baltimore. I just read that the first greeks in Baltimore came from Chios.

I shared on the DNA Doe Project FB that the majority of the last names listed that are tied to her via AncestryDNA are located in the village area of Vrontados in Chios and the majority of these last names are from NY, specifically in Queens and Long Island.
