Hmmm. Well, there appears to be alcohol involved. The victim was unsure of who had raped her, but remembers begging him to stop.
She sustained serious injuries. Prosecutors AND the judge have charecterized the attack as non consensual and violent.
Here is the kicker-the perp was interviewed as a witness because he lived in the house and was a GOOD FRIEND of the victim. He denied having any contact with her.
Until the DNA test came back. And it was just him. Only him. What a good friend.
These stories make me crazy because they are never ending...and so repetitive right down to the victim bashing by the defense attorney.

how horrible. With friends like that, who needs enemies. And if it were consensual, why would he not say, THEN, yeah we had sex, but it was consensual instead of waiting for DNA to be found?
