Franconia, New Hampshire - May 10, 2006

Authorities in New Hampshire are awaiting the medical examiners report to identify a body found in the White Mountain National Forest.

A man walking his dog found the skeletal remains on Monday. Police think the remains are those of a male.

Foul play is not suspected.

51-year-old Robert Sypek went missing in this section of the White Mountains last year. He has not been seen since.

Hi Gardenmom,
At first people were thinking that.Until the gender was made known.
They were also thinking that he could be William "Mike" Hogan who disappeared from our state.

I think dark shadows is on to something...it might certainly be the body of Robert Sypek, a hiker who went missing in the White Mountains since January 24, 2005. As with the unidentified body, LE did not think that Robert met with foul play.
