A woman from Nixa has been charged with exploitation of a minor and promoting child in Christian County after allegedly confessing to using her 3 year-old daughter to make child .

According to the probable cause statement, Megan Nell Bowman, 23, walked in to the Nixa Police Department last Sunday (05-20-12) and said she wanted to confess to creating child .

After further interviews by a Detective with Nixa’s Cyber Crimes Unit, Bowman eventually confessed to molesting both the girl and a 2-year-old boy.

Bowman’s estranged husband, an Ozark resident, reported her to police after discovering a photo of the 3-year-old in a pornographic act in his wife’s email. He forwarded the email to police. Bowman reportedly turned herself in to police.

The Christian County Prosecuting Attorney’s office may also pursue a charge of statutory sodomy against Bowman.

I think it is people like her that are the reason aliens haven't shown themselves on our planet. They looked around and said, 'No thanks, and y'all think WE are weird'.

she would've escalated the abuse and those children would've been eventually trafficked IMO

I don't respond to threads very often, but I just couldn't help myself. I, too have a 3 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. I just want to punch this woman in her mouth.
How could anyone think about doing something like this to their own kid? You know her daughter had to be asking what she was doing. I know my daughter would. This is just icky and horrible and to think she did it for a man.
Please can't someone pass a law to sterilize these monsters that do these things to their own children?

Both. I think the amount of people who have been doing this is the same but because of the internet many of them can now find others who are equally interested.

Are they really only considering a "statutory" charge? This doesn't fit that at all.

Tammy Dickinson, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced that a Nixa, Mo., woman was sentenced in federal court today for sexually exploiting two children to produce child , which she distributed over the Internet.

Meagan Nell Bowman, 26, of Nixa, was sentenced by U.S. Chief District Judge Greg Kays to 20 years in federal prison without parole. The court also sentenced Bowman to supervised release for the rest of her life following incarceration.
