A Philadelphia man is accused of kidnapping two girls, ages 13 and 11, and then abandoning them on the side of Rt. 34 in Aberdeen:

ABERDEEN, NJ — A Philadelphia man is accused of kidnapping two girls, ages 13 and 11, sexually assaulting at least one of them and then abandoning the girls on the side of Rt. 34 in Aberdeen early Monday morning, according to Aberdeen Police.

Was he known to the girls and their mother?

The children were reunited safely with their mother and the family has returned home, according to Aberdeen Township Police. Police did not release the ages of the girls or their hometowns.

Aberdeen police did not immediately return a phone call seeking additional information.
