NJ - Caretaker of missing 1-year-old child found with crack pipe, police say

A mother left her one-year-old child in the care of a Monroeville man while she was out of the house. When she returned, the man, his car and the child were missing.

Authorities eventually found the man's car and the child. Also in the car was a crack pipe and suspected crack cocaine, police said.

Lloyd W. Hartsell Jr., 54, of Island Road, in Monroeville, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, possession of controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
