Man caught on camera faking slip and fall: Prosecutor

A New Jersey man was arrested and charged with insurance fraud after authorities say he was caught on surveillance video throwing ice on the floor and allegedly faking a slip and fall.

Alexander Goldinsky, a 57-year-old independent contractor, was working for a company in Woodbridge, New Jersey, about 30 miles northwest of Newark, when he allegedly orchestrated the scam, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.

The office released surveillance video Thursday from the company's empty break room, showing Goldinsky throwing the ice and strategically sprawling himself across the floor.
