I know how you feel. I used to live in Pleasantville. It's a shame what she did to that precious baby. There are a lot of people who can't have children who would have loved to have that baby. People don't value life anymore. The world is going to hell in a hand basket. I don't understand how people can hurt a child let alone their own. :furious:

Does anyone know how the baby is doing? I have such high hopes - what a miracle that he was found alive.

I actually have a great deal of sadness and compassion for anyone scared and desparate enough to throw away a child. It is soul wrenching to consider.

I hope that more and more people will become aware of the non-criminal options parents now have in many places to leave an unwanted child. We need to hear more and more about these options in the media. As sad as it is to consider, everytime a baby is found like this, it is another opportunity to tell people about these other options.

The baby remains in fair condition at Mainland Hospital. If the baby was really bad, he would not be in this hospital as there is a better hospital (for critical patients) in Atlantic City and also Cooper and CHOP. The fact that the baby has stayed at this particular hospital is heartening.
