Mary Margaret Murphy, 54, was last seen on Saturday in Blairstown, Warren County. She usually wears jeans and sneakers and does not have a cell phone. She also has limited funds.

Police seek missing NJ woman

Mary Margret Murphy was still missing as of early Monday afternoon after she was last seen at an Easterseals group home near 3 Beechwood Lane in Blairstown around 10 a.m.

Murphy is described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall and 110 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

It is unknown what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance, but it is believed she may have had the same or similar sunglasses she is wearing in the photo provided by police.

Several Facebook users indicated that Murphy has a New York accent.

Missing Person - Public Assistance Request

Mary Murphy was last seen in the area of Beechwood Lane on 12/14/2019 at 10 AM. She is 54 years old, 5”3’ and 110 lbs, black hair and brown eyes. If anyone has information on her whereabouts or sees Mrs Murphy please contact the Blairstown Police 908-362-8266.

This is relatively local for me. Hoping they find her soon, we are in the midst of snow squals here (white out driving home from work), it is going to be super cold tonite.

Oh, this is especially sad to me when the person has disabilities or emotional difficulties, as they are especially vulnerable. So sad, I hope she is found safe very soon.

Missing Person update 12/18

Ms Murphy is still missing. With the assistance of the Warren County Prosecutor's Office we continue to investigate every possible lead and possible sightings. We have utilized many resources and would like to thank Blairstown OEM, Blairstown Ambulance Corps, NJSP North Star (Helicopter), Search and Rescue, Warren County Public Safety and the Blairstown CERT Team. nothing new, but her story is certainly showing up in a lot of places. Hoping the right eyes see her soon.

Reading the comments on that article, looks like she wandered from the group home and probably died from exposure. I'm so sorry. Praying for her family and the many others who've lost loved ones at this particularly difficult time of year.
