Authorities search Palisades for body of missing Dumont woman

Authorities were searching the Palisades this morning for the body of an 18-year-old Dumont woman who went missing a little over a year ago, in what is being handled as a homicide, multiple law enforcement sources told CLIFFVIEW PILOT. "The investigation is coming to a close," one said. Mila Kostadinova was last seen in Cresskill the morning of June 2, 2014 wearing pajama pants, a gray sweatshirt and brown Converse shoes. “She is known to carry her cellular telephone, a small amount of cash and her iPad,” Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said at the time while seeking the public's help finding her.

From November:

http://www.northjersey.com/news/cre...erup-of-dumont-woman-s-heroin-death-1.1451963

A Cresskill man who allegedly covered up the heroin overdose death of a friend last year pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Monday on charges that he unlawfully moved her remains and failed to report her death to authorities...

Freay was indicted by a grand jury last month on five counts relating to his actions after the accidental death of Mila Kostadinova...

Wunsch declined to comment after the arraignment, but has said that his client would not be facing five to 10 years in prison if he had just called police to report an overdose.
