AC is a pit, and if we go down, we valet park and never leave the resort / casino - never. Walking one block away is entering a war zone and the boardwalk at night is zombie land.

Shame on all of the local and state officals that have continued to leave the surrounding area as slums. AC has been around for decades, and was built upon promises of local improvement and jobs - which never really happend. The whole place should just be bulldozed.

I agree. Went once, never again. Whether I'm actually safer or not in Vegas I'm not sure, but I sure feel safer.

A homeless Philadelphia woman was sentenced to 80 years in prison for stabbing a Canadian mother and daughter to death in Atlantic City last year, authorities said.

Antoinette Pelzer, 46, was sentenced for the murders of Po Lin Wan, 80, and Alice Mei See Leung, 47, from Ontario, during a daytime robbery in the center of the city’s tourism district, said acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain.
