According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Simoao Pedro Pinheiro, 33, of Newark, was reported missing this evening from 765 North 6th Street. Police said:
"Mr. Pinheiro is Hispanic and weighs 160 pounds. He is 5 feet 9 inches. He has a medium [skin] complexion, brown eyes and hair. Last seen wearing blue jeans, a long sleeve blue shirt with tan boots. He drives a 2016 Kia white Sorento, NJ Reg K92-GKB."
Police are actively searching for Pinheiro and seek the public's assistance with"quickly locating and returning him to his family."
