ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The body of a woman found half-naked along the banks of an Albuquerque canal is now at the Office of the Medical Investigator.

A crew clearing out brush from the irrigation canal in the South Valley discovered the body Thursday morning.

Police ID body found in ditch

The daughter of a woman whose body was found in a South Valley ditch reported her missing about a week ago, according to police records.

Debbie Arlene Martinez, 47, was wearing only a t-shirt, bra and one shoe when crews cleaning out an irrigation ditch near 2nd and Bravo found her body Thursday morning.
