I can't find anything else on him. He's been missing over 3 months and the only article I can find on this firefighter is dated today? Weird. I hope he is okay!

Craig is mentioned in this article, which was written last year.

Missing person cases shrouded in mystery

http://www.gallupsun.com/index.php?option=com_content&id=7562%3Amissing-person-cases-shrouded-in-mystery&Itemid=560

Craig Harrison, a father and a firefighter, has been missing since September 2013. He was last seen renewing his driver’s license in Houck, Ariz. It was reported to police that he was identified after this time in Sanders, Ariz., possibly drinking under a bridge with his brother, according to Gallup Police Department spokesman Capt. Rick White.

His girlfriend at the time he went missing, was Jamie Curley, who said that she did know him to go into town and “hang around” and she feels very strongly that something happened to him. She said that he would use hitchhiking as a form of transportation.

“I haven’t heard anything since, it’s still a mystery,” Curley said. “Something happened to him, otherwise he would have come home a long time ago.”

Curley and Harrison have two boys together, one who just celebrated a birthday. Curley said that she tries not to think about Harrison’s disappearance because she wants her children to be happy. She has tried to move on with her life for herself and for her children.

Still missing after 6 years. :(
Welcome to Websleuths! This case leaves a lot of questions unanswered, especially about things most people know as fact. I find it odd.

he “is about 28 years old.” Is his birthdate unknown? His family can’t confirm it or no one asked?

“believed Harrison was a Navajo Scout firefighter.” Was he or wasn’t he? Can they verify that thru the firefighter organization?

We’re there any searches done? There’s nothing online speaking to searches, scent dogs, interviews with his brother?

The responses from the girlfriend seem rather casual for lack of a better word? As in “I try not to think about it.” No mention of his sons asking for their Dad?

I can answer some of those questions. He was 27 years old when he was last seen. He was a Navajo Scout Firefighter. There was no formal search by PD but the family did do their own search in the town/area he was last seen.
When he was reported missing the PD said he’s old enough to come and go as he pleases. And since they didn’t suspect foul play they couldn’t open an investigation but they could list him as missing.

There is only 30 miles or so between his home and where they think he went to (Allentown, AZ). It makes me think that’s not really where he went. He renewed his drivers license in Houck, AZ so why would he hitch a ride? Did he own a vehicle? He hung out with his brother in Sanders, AZ. I-40 goes right thru there. Is the bridge they’re referring to an interstate overpass bridge? Is that where the homeless crowd hangs out? There’s a lot of forestland in the region but I don't see a large body of water close by. I can’t help but think someone close to him knows more than they’re saying.

The article is poorly written. Houck, AZ doesn’t have a drivers license office.
He left Gallup, NM to Allentown, AZ where he spent time with his brother. He got his DL renewed in Holbrook, AZ and was last seen in Sanders, AZ with some people. They were drinking and the bridge they were under does have the Rio Puerco go underneath it. Neither the Gallup PD or the Navajo Nation PD are helpful since the missing person report was filed in Gallup, NM the Navajo Nation PD says it’s out of their jurisdiction. Then Gallup PD says since he was last seen in AZ it’s out of their jurisdiction.
There are many native Americans missing from this area and it is happening more frequently and the PDs or the Navajo nation President aren't taking it serious when family members are reporting their loved ones missing.
