Found Safe NM - David Tellez, 86, Las Cruces, 6 Aug 2017

David Tellez Jr., 86, suffers from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, was last seen around 2 p.m. at his home on the 3300 block of Blue Ridge Lane.

Tellez left his home in a 2004 Toyota RAV4 with Texas license plate number 7BWGT.

Police believe Tellez could be in the Las Cruces or El Paso area because he used to live in El Paso.

He is described as 5 feet tall, weighs about 144 pounds and was last seen wearing a white shirt and brown khaki pants.

He is blind in his right eye and is hard of hearing.

He used to live in El Paso and police and family suspect he may have driven back to El Paso out of habit.

He left in his silver 2004 Toyota RAV4 with Texas license plate 7BWGT.
