Kidnap suspect arrested
Alamogordo Department of Public Safety officers arrested a man wanted for six counts of attempted murder Thursday after receiving an anonymous tip on his whereabouts.
Johnny Gutierrez, 32, of 813 Constant was arrested on a Doña Ana County Magistrate Court warrant for several violent crimes charges.
Gutierrez was arrested for six counts of attempted first degree murder, six counts of conspiracy to commit first degree murder, six counts of kidnapping, four counts of aggravated battery with great bodily harm, four counts of aggravated assault with intent to commit a violent felony and two counts of child abuse.
