Circumstances of Recovery: The cranium was found by a hunter approximately 7 miles south of Las Vegas on the Hooper Ranch. He brought the remains into the state police office. Officers went to the approximate location with the hunter, but the hunter couldn't recall for sure where the remains were found, and no further remains were recovered.
