Sherlyn gave a show in Rio Rancho on Sep 17, and haven't answered her phone after that.

Her car was found by friends a week later parked near a truck stop on Atrisco Vista Blvd. and Central Ave.

People close to Sherlyn say they believe she could be in danger and are asking the community if they see her or know anything about her whereabouts to immediately call 911 or the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) at (505) 468-7100.

Oh dear, this doesn't sound good at all. The car found near a truck stop is particularly ominous.
Against the odds, let's hope Sherlyn is found safe and sound soon.

Albuquerque Trans Woman Sherlyn Marjorie Murdered, Her Former Partner Charged

The popular drag performer was killed in September.

Sherlyn Marjorie, a Latina transgender woman and popular drag performer, was killed in Albuquerque, N.M., in September, and now her former intimate partner has been charged with murder.

Marjorie, 35, was last seen alive September 16, the Albuquerque Journal reports. Her friends said she had planned to meet a man the following day, but they didn’t know his identity. They reported her missing September 24, and family and friends found her body two days later in a drainage tunnel. She had been beaten to death, and her body wrapped in tape and plastic. Earlier, a search party had found her car abandoned at a gas station.

Police arrested Jose Mendoza-Espinoza, 29, October 11. He is charged with murder and tampering with evidence, according to the Journal.

Awful, may she rest in peace. I am so glad her (alleged) murderer has been caught and charged. I have been seeing so many murders and suspicious deaths of trans women as of late.
