DNA on his belongings that were found, DNA in his hotel room, questioning the room maids,

It was high season and after you check out..the room in a 4 star hotel is cleaned,very intens (most of the time) for the next guest,to arrive.

I doubt that DNA could be found,by the time the NP knew his hotel staying..could be..but I doubt it,to be honest,just my opinion of course...
