Washoe County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for any information that would help locate an 80-year-old woman who has been missing since yesterday afternoon.

Barbara Volz was last seen around 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in the area of Red Rock Road and U.S. 395 driving a silver Toyota Camry, license plate number: NV 17A025.

Volz is described as a white female, approximately five feet, three inches tall and weighing 90 pounds. She was last seen wearing light blue sweat pants with a royal blue zip-up jacket.

Anyone with information about the location of Barbara Volz is asked to contact Washoe County Sheriff’s Dispatch at (775) 785-WCSO.

Washoe County deputies find missing woman's car

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office says it located the car belonging to a missing woman in the hills north of Spanish Springs early Monday, July 23, 2018.

Search and rescue crews and members of the HASTY team are in the area of Encanto Drive off Pyramid Highway, looking for 80-year-old Barbara Volz.

Hope they find her soon. The heat must be unbearable.
