A missing-person report filed on July 30 indicates that Booth told his roommate that he was “going camping”, though Booth reportedly only took with him enough supplies to last for a day or two. Booth’s vehicle, a 2002 silver Toyota Tacoma pickup with NV license number 601PMR, is also being searched for by Washoe County officers.

Booth has also been the subject of occasional controversy, including a 2012 tale in which he admitted stiffing fellow cash-game pro Doug Polk for $28,000 in an online-for-cash swap.

Though the length of time since his disappearance is a major concern, Booth is known for his individualism and iconoclastic nature. Friends and family have expressed their hopes that Booth has just chosen to lay low for an extended period, also noting that Booth’s vehicle hasn’t turned up anywhere in the meantime.

What’s extremely curious to me is that the day before YB went missing another professional poker player was murdered, Susie Zhao: Motel meeting with sex offender ends with poker pro tied up, tortured & ‘lit on fire until she died’: Docs
This happened in another state, so I’m not sure that these are cases connected (probably not, MOO...but maybe!). And we don’t know if anything bad actually happened to Yukon Brad.
Still very, VERY peculiar to me. MOO.

ETA: I didn’t see that Laughing already posted about Susie Q.

I can’t imagine camping in the summer heat.
My husband just came back from a 9 day camping trip. It was in the mid 90s each day with a heat index into the 100s. I have NO idea how he did it either. Good lord I would have died (or just went to a hotel within 24 hours, probably within a few hours if I’m being honest). I guess some people can stand the heat....NOT me though!!

I wonder if it was a suicide mission. I hope not! Where are you Brad?!?

o_O MSM/LE silence surrounding Brad's disappearance leaves me a bit curious and concerned, even a little angry. I've read many theories proposed as to the potential reasons he's missing. It seems many folks think he left voluntarily, which may likely be the case. But what if he didn't? What if he is/was hurt or a victim of some viscous criminal(s)? His alleged current and past debts/dealings with others is precisely why I think there should be more urgency around his case. Do investigators not see red flags? Perhaps they do and are investigating, though it seems they'd be asking the public for info if they are actively working his case. Maybe I'm just not very good at finding all the links but it seems the poker playing community has given Brad's case the most attention it's had thus far. Sadly, even that push seems to have stopped. :( MOO

Where are you, Brad?
