Unattended sailboat found at Lake Mead, Vegas man missing

Authorities at Lake Mead National Recreation Area are searching for a 69-year-old man who may be missing in the park. Brian Yule was last seen around noon Friday leaving Callville Bay Marina on his blue and white, 25-foot sailing vessel. His boat was found unoccupied around 1 p.m. Saturday. Anyone with information on his whereabouts or who saw his boat is asked to call the Lake Mead Dispatch Center at 702-293-8998.

Search continues for man who went missing from Lake Mead

Search crews are actively trying to find Brian Yule, 69, who went missing after boating on Lake Mead on August 11.

“Just pray that we find him alive,” his wife, Fay Yule, said.

“My husband was extremely experienced and very safety-conscious,” she said. “Nobody that got on his boat did not know exactly what they had to do.”
