The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Missing Persons Detail is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 62-year-old male. David R. Ramirez was last seen at 10:50 am on November 6th, 2024, near the 4000 block of Blue Wildrye Street in Las Vegas, NV. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, a black and green flannel shirt, and dark-colored shorts. He has tattoos on both arms and calf. Las Vegas family skips Thanksgiving dinner as search for missing father continues

David Ramirez has been missing for 23 days now and his family is not giving up their search. An East Las Vegas family opted to forgo a traditional Thanksgiving meal this year as there would be an empty seat at the dinner table.

Video from the morning he went missing shows him walking out the front door, pausing for a moment looking uncertain, then walking into the middle of the street and out of frame. Since then, his family has looked for him everywhere they can think of.

“You have gone to shelters, you have gone to hospitals, really everything that you can think of?,” asked Passoth.

“Shelters, hospitals, bus stations, RTC, coroner’s office,” Jimenez replied.

“You have even gone so far as to go into the tunnel system yourself,” Passoth questioned.

“I have… it is scary but… I had a couple of the guys down there say, ‘You don’t have to worry about it. If he is hungry, we will feed him. If he is cold, we will give him a jacket,’” Jimenez recounted.

Missing one month today.

This makes me so sad because I work in this area and drive extensively around all day long, but I am hearing about David for the first time right now. I was 2 blocks away just yesterday. I wonder what needs to be done to get the word out more quickly? Sometimes I see people hanging out in parks or washes, so it’s important that everyone keeps an eye out. I sure hope he’s hanging out with some friendly folks who are feeding him? But it’s going to get cold soon.

A valley father has been found dead more than a month after going missing.

David Ramirez, 62, was last seen on Ring camera footage leaving his home near Desert Inn and Hollywood on Nov. 6. His daughter, Julieta Jimenez, tells FOX5 that police informed her Monday night that his body was found.
