Sparks Police Press Release
On 11/26/2018 at about 5:38 p.m.officers with the Sparks Police Department responded to a residence in the 7400 block of Ashley Park Dr. for a report of a missing person. The missing person was identified as Dawn Hammond, a 76 yoa Sparks residents. Dawn had left her residence earlier in the day for a hair appointment.. Dawn suffers from dementia and family members were concerned, since Dawn had not returned home. Dawn does not possess a cell phone, The family does not know where Dawn got her hair done. Dawn was last seen driving a light colored 2010 Honda Accord, bearing NV 342 XCJ. Officers checked numerous locations in the Sparks area in an attempt to locate Dawn, but were unsuccessful in locating Dawn or the vehicle. All local hospitals were checked, but she was not located. The Sparks Police is asking the public's assistance in locating Dawn. If you see Dawn or her vehicle please contact your local agency or the Sparks Police. A picture of Dawn is attached.
