64-year-old Dayton resident, DEON KINCADE-HODSON is missing from the Dayton area and could be in the Mason Pass/Smith Valley area. She left the Dayton area in a 1998 Jeep Wrangler 2 door, blue and gray in color with Nevada license plate: 963G55. There are two, faded stickers on the back window that show a raised middle finger.

She is a white female approximately 5'2" and 105 pounds. She has short blonde hair. Deon's hair is now very short as shown in the second photo.

Lyon County Search and Rescue is currently in the process of developing a team to search for Deon .

A Dayton woman missing since last week was found deceased in a remote area of Douglas County, according to the Lyon County Sheriff's Office.

On Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023 at approximately 12:30 p.m. the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Communications Division was contacted by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office who reported a citizen had located Deon Kincade-Hodson’s vehicle in a remote area of Douglas County, according to a LCSO news release.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Douglas County Search and Rescue responded to the area and located the vehicle, as well as the remains of a deceased adult female.

At approximately 5:40 p.m. Sunday the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the remains discovered were in fact those of Deon Kincade-Hodson.

A Douglas County resident found Kincade-Hodson's car in a remote area of Douglas County just after noon on Sunday.

Search and rescue teams found a woman dead in a car and later confirmed the remains belonged to Kincade-Hodson.

I wonder if she died intentionally… or had a heart attack or some other health incident.
