This case evidently was filed a year ago, but only came up in my CNN feed today. There is reporting from multiple sources, including Boston Glove, NYT, WaPo, but all behind paywalls!

IMO this is a very important case. The ballet world is rife with abuse of every variety, because it's so competitive to get into companies and then to get roles. Millions of little girls want to be ballerinas, and this makes them very vulnerable. And the physical nature of dance easily blurs lines between expression, sexuality, emotions, physicality....it's difficult to know when someone is taking advantage, or grooming, or inappropriately touching, let alone for teens.

This case has parallels to the Larry Nasser and Ghislaine Maxwell cases.
