Love the idea of the K-9 salute as well! Hate that a police dog or any dog was shot. RIP NIcky.:rose::rose::rose:

The police dog was killed by friendly fire March 31 during a running gunbattle with a homicide suspect, and his 2 p.m. funeral was closed to the public.

First they claimed the suspect shot the dog. Then they admitted that a cop shot the dog. :facepalm: These are the people who are supposed to be protecting us, but they shoot their own dog. :facepalm:
