I'm pretty good with the Google-fu and literally all I can find on him is this thread and his NamUs profile. Seems really strange for there to be so little. I don't suppose we have a DoB anywhere- there seem to be an awful lot of Joseph Patrick Hayeses who are clearly not him for one reason (age, race, etc) or another.
