What happened to Josy Butler? Her body was found shoved into a duffelbag inside a Las Vegas dumpster in 2013. No arrests have been made, and no new news in 8 years that I can find.

"Butler’s mother, Sheryl Dumitru, reached by phone Friday, said she last saw her daughter Saturday night when she dropped her off at a friend’s house.

“She told her friend she was going to the Longhorn Casino and that she was going to meet one of her friends at the Longhorn. I don’t know the name of who she was meeting,” Dumitru said.

The Longhorn Casino is at 5288 Boulder Highway.

Butler’s mother and brother, Eric Butler, said Butler was found in the garbage bin by two men who notified police.

Dumitru said her daughter worked as a computer technician and was frequently called upon by her friends to fix their computers"

I wonder if they ever established whether Josy actually made it to the casino? Like, was she seen on surveillance cameras?

I couldn't find much at all! I am in Vegas for a few months and decided to see what I could find on websleuths for missing/unsolved stuff here to occupy my time. I'm starting to see many are just.... forgotten. I haven't been impressed with how Lesly Palacio or Jawaher Hejjis cases have/are being handle. Who else is falling through the cracks here???
