FOOTBALL superstar Cristiano Ronaldo allegedly raped an American woman and then told her "sorry, I'm usually a gentleman", according to court papers filed in Las Vegas.

The ex-Manchester United forward, the world's most famous footballer, has categorically denied the rape allegations made against him, calling it "fake news" in an Instagram Live video.
