I wonder if this was an abandoned car in a junkyard or something? Feel they should specify on that.Okay, NAMUS doesn't even provide a description of the vehicle???
Intriguing!

I live in Las Vegas and It's a busy commercial area.I wonder if this was an abandoned car in a junkyard or something? Feel they should specify on that.
Do they have any exclusions? Can't see as I'm European.

Thank you. I'm starting to think this isn't really a missing person/foul play and a car was taken into the scrapyard after a particularly brutal car accident without realising there was still a human remain wedged in the car somewhere.0 Missing Person Exclusions
it does not.I assume O’Reilly Auto Parts is/has a scrapyard
Thanks. Wrong assumption on my part!it does not.
It's been 2 years. They probably know they're not animal remains. If the bones were small, they could just be animal remains. They just likely can't get solid confirmation that they aren't human.
Doesn’t give us much to go on, other than a location in Las Vegas.
Putting the coordinates into Google Earth, brings up an area near 6139 Smoke Ranch Rd with a Chevron gas station. There is a Quick Lube & Tube behind this & also a sign for O’Reilly Auto Parts ( just guessing but the latter seems the more likely location)
Ill try to attach a screenshot, but failing that the coordinates are
36°12'11.1"N 115°13'28.2"W
Unfortunately, if this NAMUS map pin is accurate -- it's the first one I've ever heard of that was in the right place.
A vehicle that was totaled -- good thought!

usually no, its a chain and they are usually in strip malls.I assume O’Reilly Auto Parts is/has a scrapyard
Is it more likely the bone was in a heap of spare parts or something? I've realised I might have been misleading. It doesn't exactly say it was found inside a vehicle in the description.usually no, its a chain and they are usually in strip malls.
Say what!!??This is a strange one.
Partial skeletal parts found inside a vehicle while a handyman was doing repairs on it. Inventory of remains is blank again.
